"NYPD Blue" fans no doubt perked up their ears Tuesday night when they heard the words "Lawrence, Kansas" coming out of an actor's mouth on the popular ABC series.

One of the show's story lines revolved around retired cop Mike Roberts, who needed help from his former NYPD colleagues when it appeared that he may have been responsible for a crime involving truck high-jacking and gambling at his current job.

A man whose truck was high-jacked tells Det. Greg Medavoy that a gypsy told him to move to a town that started with "L" and a state that started with "K."

Medavoy suggested Lawrence, Kan. The truck driver answered that he was thinking more along the lines of Louisville, Ky.
