Columbia, Mo. -- Chris George allowed just one unearned run over the full nine innings, and Missouri extended its winning streak to seven and Kansas' losing skid to eight with an 8-1 Mizzou Big 12 baseball victory on Saturday.
George (2-1) allowed seven hits with five strikeouts and a walk.
He was backed by an 11-hit attack, paced by Aaron Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Jake Epstein was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for the Tigers (21-13 overall, 5-9).
Brandon O'Neal and Shane Wedd each had two of Kansas' seven hits. The Jayhawks fell to 10-26 and 4-16.
Wedd scored KU's lone run -- unearned -- in the fifth to cut Mizzou's lead to 7-1, but Kansas went scoreless the rest of the way and the Tigers pulled away with a two-run eighth.
The teams will conclude their series with a single game that begins at 1 p.m. today.
