The commissioners will be asked to reconsider a contract with Rice Custom Mowing for roadside mowing of county roads. An original bid by Rice was rejected by the commissioners because it was above the budgeted amount. There also has been discussion about whether the county could do the mowing for less money with county staff and equipment. The proposed contract would cost no more than $40,000.
