On Wednesday, Lee Mann, professor of design at Kansas University will present ``Southwest Petroglyphs'' at the University Forum. His talk will focus on the petroglyphs found in the desert Southwest.
Petroglyphs are carvings or inscriptions on a rock.
University Forum, held in Ecumenical Christian Ministries, 1204 Oread, is free and open to the Lawrence community, KU faculty, students, and staff. An optional lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. Call 843-4933 for a reservation. Brown bags are welcome. Beverages are provided. Speakers begin at noon and end at 1 p.m. Parking is limited to the adjacent lot.
