Services for Martha A. Wade, 100, Baldwin, are pending and will be announced by Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin. She died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998.

Leon ``Bob'' Bagby

Overbrook -- Services for Leon Robert ``Bob'' Bagby, 71, Overbrook, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Overbrook. Burial will be in Twin Mound Cemetery with military services conducted by Brown-Leonard-Woodward Post No. 391 of the American Legion.

Mr. Bagby died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998, at his home.

He was born March 21, 1927, in Eudora, the son of Leonard and Ada Kurtz Bagby. He attended schools in Eudora, served in the Army, and later farmed and managed a dairy operation.

He was a member of Lutheran Church, Mid-America Dairy Assn., American Legion, Twin Mound Grange and served on the Twin Mound grade school board.

He married Phyllis Arlene King on Aug. 6, 1950, at Richland. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Steven W., the home; three daughters, Pamela L. Faust, Overbrook, Robin E. Smoot, Topeka, and Cheryl A. Dixon, Tecumseh; a brother, LaVerne, Hoyt; two sisters, Rita Heine, Lawrence, and Ruby Peaslee, Perry; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Greenwood-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home in Overbrook, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to Post No. 391 of the American Legion, sent in care of the funeral home.

Lewis M. Edwards

Ottawa -- Services for Lewis M. Edwards, 58, Ottawa, are pending and will be announced by Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Ottawa. Mr. Edwards died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998.

Steffen Michael Surber

Ottawa -- Services for Steffen Michael Surber, 5, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

Steffen died Saturday, Sept. 12, 1998. He attended Hawthorn Grade School.

He was born Aug. 25, 1993, in Wichita, the son of Matt Griffin and Staci Surber. They survive.

Other survivors include a sister, McKenzy, Ottawa; maternal grandparents, Ron and Susan Surber, Ottawa; paternal grandparents, Gary and Cindy Griffin, Ottawa; great-grandmothers, Johanna J. Surber, Olathe, and Irma Houston, Ottawa; and great-grandparents, Grayden and Sally Griffin, Pomona.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. today until service hour Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
