Services for Douglas Lee Eaden II, 21, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Chapel. Cremation will follow the services.

Mr. Eaden died Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, in Aurora, Colo., from injuries suffered in a car accident.

He was born Sept. 14, 1977, in Topeka, the son of Douglas Lee and Sheron Ann Gibler Eaden. He had been a resident of Lawrence all his life. He worked as a night manager for the Kwik Shop on West 23rd Street.

He is survived by his mother, Topeka; his father, Raytown, Mo.; two sisters, Milissa Eaden and Sarah Eaden, both of Topeka; paternal grandparents, Donald and Geraldine Eaden, Raytown, Mo.; and maternal grandparents, George and Frances Goff, Lawrence.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at the Warren-McElwain mortuary, where family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to the Douglas Lee Eaden II Memorial Fund, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
