Private services for Alice Bernita Wang, 71, Lawrence, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Wang died Monday, Nov. 9, 1998, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 14, 1927, in London Mills, Ill., the daughter of Edwin and Belva Blanford Ulm. She was a graduate of London Mills High School and the College of Swedish Massage.

Mrs. Wang attended West Side Presbyterian Church in Lawrence.

She married Kenneth Nien Wang on June 10, 1953, in Springfield, Ill. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Elaine Wade, Lawrence; Belva Lawton, Boise, Idaho, and Eva McClure, Fort Worth, Tex.; a brother, Albert Ulm, Quincy, Ill.; two sisters, Arleta Butcher, Macomb, Ill., and Florabelle Liu, Skokie, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, which is handling arrangements.
