Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Lawrence Zillner, 55, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Eudora.
Mr. Zillner died Thursday, Nov. 5, 1998, at his home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1943, in Lawrence, the son of Clement and Edna Sommer Zillner. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence, graduating from Lawrence High School in 1961.
He was a grounds supervisor at Meadowbrook apartments and retired in 1995 due to illness. He was a licensed arborist and a member of the Kansas Aborist Assn. as well as the Eudora Historical Society.
Survivors include his mother, Lawrence; a son, Micah Clark, and his mother, Helen Clark, Lawrence; and two sisters, Joyce Halderman and Virginia Grob, Lawrence.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, after which the family will greet friends.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Assn., Independence Inc. or Holy Family Cemetery, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
