Oskaloosa — Services for Jackson ``Jack'' M. Wright, 64, Horton, formerly of McLouth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be at McLouth Cemetery.
Mr. Wright died Monday, May 4, 1998, at his daughter's home in Horton.
He was born Oct. 26, 1933, in Independence, Mo., the son of Warren H. and Willford M. Schade Wright. He had lived in Horton for six months, moving from McLouth, where he had lived for nearly 40 years.
Mr. Wright was a production worker for Farmland Industries in Lawrence for 22 years. He retired in 1996. He also had worked for several years at Rhodes Dairy Farm in McLouth.
A graduate of Eaton (Ind.) High School, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1956 to 1960.
He married Jo Ann Laster on Nov. 26, 1957, in McLouth. She died Feb. 14, 1982. He also was preceded in death by an infant son, Jackson Wright Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Willford M. Feighner, Louisburg; a son, Mike, Tempe, Ariz.; a daughter, Debbie Dunn, Horton; four brothers, Warren, Noblesville, Ind., Harry, Muncie, Ind., George, Fontana, and William, Glen Rock, Wyo.; two sisters, Ann DePriest, McLouth, and Dora Gray, Paola; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
