Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A computer, monitor and printer valued on a sheriff's report at $2,800 were reported stolen between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday from the 1500 section of North 1708 Road.
  • A laptop computer valued on a police report at $2,700 was reported stolen between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday from a residence in the 4500 block of Wimbledon. A 21-year-old Lawrence woman was home at the time of the burglary, police reported.
  • A white 1996 Chevrolet pickup valued on a police report at $19,635 was reported stolen about 10:10 a.m. Saturday from the 1800 block of Tennessee.
  • Various items valued on a police report at $1,572 were reported taken between 12:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. Thursday from a vehicle in the 1500 block of New Hampshire. Descriptions of the items were not available.
