Parents of newborns can learn about numerous topics relating to the care of their baby at a Lawrence Memorial Hospital class on Monday.
The newborn class, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the hospital, will cover topics including bathing, cord care, clothing, safety, nutrition, crying and adjusting to parenthood.
``Parents have the opportunity to learn about the details they need to know to take care of their newborn,'' said Aynsley Anderson, childbirth education instructor. ``Because the workshop is not part of a childbirth class, it is open to adoptive parents as well.''
The workshop costs $10 per person and $15 per couple, and it will be in Meeting Room D at LMH, 325 Maine. For more information or to enroll, call 749-5800.
