Shrimp and Chicken Lo Mein

8 ounces lo mein noodles, cooked,

8 ounces chicken, cooked and sliced

8 ounces shrimp, cooked

4 ounces snow peas, blanched

4 ounces broccoli, blanched

4 ounces sweet red pepper, blanched

4 ounces scallions, sauteed

Toss noodles, chicken, shrimp and vegetables with enough sweet chili sauce to coat. Heat until hot and serve.

Sweet Chili Sauce

6 cups corn syrup

46 ounces pineapple juice

3 cups vinegar

Commissioners agreed to pay Black & Veatch more money to handle design and inspection services for two ongoing projects involving sewage treatment projects.

The Kansas City, Mo., engineering company will get another $156,000 to handle work on the city's new biosolids handling facility at the water treatment plant, 1400 E. Eighth.
