Two men pleaded guilty Friday to charges for their part in planning the armed robbery of the downtown Lawrence Pizza Hut in January.

Jose Larios, 21, a former employee of the restaurant, and Dean K. Wilson, 22, were arrested after the Jan. 4 robbery. Larios told police he was returning from a delivery when another man wearing a ski mask pointed a gun at his side and followed him inside the rear entrance to Pizza Hut, 934 Mass.

During an investigation into the robbery, however, police found that Larios had set up the robbery with Wilson, who was wearing the ski mask.

Both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery on Friday in Douglas County District Court.

As part of a plea agreement, the aggravated robbery charges against both men were dropped.
