* Approve appointments recommended by Mayor Marty Kennedy.

  • Set a 2 p.m. June 30 deadline for bids to handle construction of drainage improvements in the Creekwood area of Deerfield Channel.
  • Authorize City Manager Mike Wildgen to execute an agreement with BG Consultants for the preparation of construction documents for a new skate park in Centennial Park, southeast of Sixth Street and Rockledge Road. BG Consultants would be paid $18,000 to draw up the plans.
  • Approve a site plan for Tennessee Apartments, to be located at 1605 Tenn., next door to the Ludington-Thacher House, which is listed as a landmark on the local and national registers of historic planes.
  • Approve a site plan for First State Bank and Trust, to be located at 3911 W. Sixth and 611 Monterey Way, the southwest corner of Sixth Street and Monterey.
  • Approve a revised site plan for an addition to an AT&T; equipment building at 2001 Riverridge Rd. A plat also would be approved for the property.
  • Receive and approve amendments to Horizon 2020 adopted May 18 by the Douglas County Commission.
  • Agree to hire Collins Engineering Inc., for $11,880, to handle inspection of traffic signal poles not on the state highway system.
  • Agree to hire TranSystems Corp., for $10,000, to come up with conceptual improvement plans for the intersection of 23rd and Iowa streets.
  • Receive a draft ``Request for Proposals'' concerning tax increment financing/public incentive projects for downtown area. Commissioners could direct staffers to have the request published, if appropriate.
  • Receive and consider ``West 6th Street (U.S. 40) Access Management Plan,'' receive public comment, and refer the report to Douglas County officials for review and consideration.
  • Receive staff report concerning Year 2000 (Y2K) Community Information Task Force.
  • Receive an electric franchise compliance review of Western Resources Inc.
