— Services for Lela Marie Lowe, 87, rural Edgerton, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Wilson and Son Chapel, Wellsville. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley.

Mrs. Lowe died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 24, 1911, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of George Moore and Viola Britt. She was a homemaker and also drove a school bus for the Wellsville School District for 11 years.

She was a member of the Wild Care Organization of Kansas. She also was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Wellsville.

She married Eugene Vincent Lowe in 1929 in Seneca. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include five sons, Robert Lowe, Edgerton, Larry Lowe, Saguache, Colo., Ronald Lowe, Gardner, Dannie Lowe, Spring Hill, and David Lowe, Wellsville; five daughters, Margaret Brumbaugh, Olathe, Suellyn Stone, Belton, Mo., Deeanna Dornes, Rantoul, Cheryl Swisher, Salem, Ore., and Gina Hall, Lawrence; a brother, Clinton Moore, Oklahoma; three sisters, Vera Wissndippe , Seneca, Betty Haggarty, Kansas City, Kan., and Margie Latimer, Andover; 43 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m to 8:30 p.m. today at the Wilson and Son Funeral Chapel.
