Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A generator, wheelbarrow and circular saw valued on a police report at $2,475 were stolen between 9 a.m. April 23 and 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from Sunflower Rental, 3301 W. Sixth.
  • A red-and-white Honda motorcycle valued on a police report at $7,000 was stolen between 10:40 p.m. May 17 and 7:30 a.m. May 20 from the 2300 block of West 26th, Lawrence police reported Wednesday.
  • A compact disc player and tool kit valued on a police report at $1,200 were stolen between 2 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Monday from the 2600 block of Winterbrook.

Police reports

  • A 58-year-old employee of E and E Display, 910 E. 29th, lost the tip of his finger in an industrial accident at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was treated and released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
