— Services for Harold H. Horton, 97, Topeka, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Perry.

Mr. Horton died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Westwood Manor, Topeka.

He was born Nov. 19, 1900, in Topeka, the son of Myron and Alice Parrett Horton. He was a 1918 graduate of Berryton High School.

He was a baker at the Harvey House restaurants for many years and had worked as a section hand for the Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka for many years.

He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Perry.

He married Mary Alma Caywood on April 2, 1926, in Alva, Okla. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Jesse, Topeka, and Herb, Perry; a brother, Willis, Manhattan; a sister, Edna Mae Walters, Kansas City, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. today at the Barnett Funeral Home.
