Wellsville — Services for Agatha ``Easta'' Booth, 87, Wellsville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wellsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Wellsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Booth died Monday, June 29, 1998, in Lawrence.
She was born July 4, 1910, in North Carolina, the daughter of Charles Mims and Lola Myrtle Tate Smith. A homemaker, she was a cook for the Wellsville school district for 19 years.
She was a member of Wellsville Baptist Church, Burean Sunday School Class, Garden Club, and the Friends of the Library, all of Wellsville.
She married Forrest E. Booth on Feb. 14, 1935, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors include two daughters, Barbara Saner, Wellsville, and Ardena Yakle, Red Oak, Iowa; a son, Jerome, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Wilson and Son Chapel.
