Cox was booked into the jail at 11:20 p.m. on charges of three counts of kidnapping and one count each of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, felony theft and attempted theft.
The kidnapping counts stem from the abduction of the Learys and the restraining of the girl at the first residence, authorities said.
He also faces a probation violation through the Kansas Department of Corrections, according to jail records.
Cox was being held without bond early today. He likely will face a first appearance in Douglas County District Court at 3 p.m. today.
