No services for Dolly Auld McCauley, 90, Lawrence, are planned.
Mrs. McCauley died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community.
She was born March 3, 1907, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Ellsworth Lincoln and Sarah Elizabeth Stallard Auld.
She graduated from St. Joseph High School and came to Lawrence in 1952. She owned and operated the Lawrence Credit Bureau from 1954 to 1979.
She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, and was a member of Daughters of the Revolution and Daughters of the Confederacy, past president of Lawrence Soroptimist Club, past president of the Kansas Associated Credit Bureau of America, and a member of the Lawrence Art Guild.
She married William Hunt McCauley on Sept. 2, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo. He died Nov. 21, 1964.
Survivors include two sons, William McCauley, Boise, Idaho, and Robert McCauley, Laport, Tex.; a daughter, Betty McCauley Buford, Lawrence; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
