Douglas County Sheriff's deputies on Friday arrested a 19-year-old Lawrence man on a warrant for aggravated robbery.
Terrance James Beers was booked into the Douglas County Jail at 4:58 a.m. Friday on the warrant, along with another warrant for failing to appear in court.
Authorities said the warrant stemmed from an incident in which a taxi driver was robbed on Nov. 18.
The driver picked up Beers at the Imperial Garden, 2907 W. Sixth, and Beers allegedly pointed a gun at the driver's head in an alley in the 1700 block of Kentucky. He reportedly grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the area.
Beers was being held in the jail on $16,000 bond on Friday night.
Last week, Beers was featured in a Crime Stoppers plea to the public for assistance in capturing the fugitive.
