Acting on information from federal marshals, Lawrence police found a man wanted on drug charges at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Police took Brian Lindberg, 34, of Topeka, from the hospital, 325 Maine, to the Judicial and Law Enforcement Center, 111 E. 11th, at 10 a.m. Friday. A police report on the matter was released Tuesday.
Troy Schuster, a deputy marshal with the U.S. Marshal's Service in Topeka, picked Lindberg up on Friday, Lawrence Police Department Sgt. George Wheeler said.
"We went out and helped serve a warrant," Wheeler said.
Lindberg was detained in connection with federal methamphetamine charges.
An LMH nursing supervisor wouldn't release information on why Lindberg was at the hospital or when he was admitted.
