WHY DOES LAWRENCE HAVE SO MANY STREETS WITH THE SAME NAMES SUCH AS WOODRIDGE DRIVE AND WAGON WHEEL ROAD? ALSO, WHY DO STREETS ABRUPTLY CHANGE NAMES ACROSS AN INTERSECTION?

David Woosley, the city's traffic engineer, provided the following answer:

``I am not aware of two different Woodridge drives in the city. There are two Wagon Wheel roads. One was platted before being annexed into the city and was allowed to retain the name after annexation.
