— Services for Richard Allen Fasching, 58, Oskaloosa, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Perry.

Mr. Fasching died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 1, 1940, in Topeka, the son of John and Florence Thomas Fasching. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1974.

He was self-employed in the excavating field.

He was a veteran of the Navy.

He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Perry.

He married Velora ``Lori'' Smith on Sept. 5, 1964, in Topeka. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Florence Fasching, Topeka; three sons, Christopher and Kevin, both of Oskaloosa, and Craig, Lawrence; two brothers, Harry Fasching, Edmond, Okla., and Paul Fasching, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, Topeka, where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to St. Theresa Catholic Church or to the Bone Marrow transplant department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center at Omaha, and may be sent in care of the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW Sixth St., Topeka 66603.
