Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Amplifiers, speakers, 110 compact discs and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot at 1918 Stewart Ave. between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. Total loss and damage was $3,150.
  • Speakers, amplifiers, a compact disc player and other items were stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot at 1918 Stewart Ave. between 11 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday. Total loss and damage was $2,305.

Police reports

  • A 1997 Honda Accord was damaged between 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of Naismith. Damage was estimated at $1,500, police reported.

Condition reports

  • Dustin Barnes, 22, Lawrence, was listed in critical condition Monday night in an intensive care unit at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., where he was taken after suffering injuries while riding a bicycle and being struck by a car on Sunday afternoon.
