A one-vehicle rollover Tuesday on Kansas Highway 10 put three men in the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said that Landon McKinnis, 21, of Shawnee, was driving westbound on K-10 when his vehicle left the road and dipped into the grassy median. McKinnis corrected and lost control, rolling the 1986 Chevrolet Blazer a few times in the median about 5:30 p.m., according to witnesses.
The vehicle landed on its wheels in the east-bound lane, facing east just in front of the Lawrence Knights of Columbus Hall at mile marker No. 5. None of the occupants was wearing seatbelts, officers said.
A 23-year-old Overland Park man, whose identity was not released, was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he was in critical condition.
Douglas County Fire & Medical transported McKinnis and Steven Clark, Overland Park, no age available, to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Lafeyette Cosby, Lawrence, had minor injuries but refused treatment.
The accident is still under investigation.
