— No services are planned for Eleanor Jean Ulmer, 85, Lenexa. Her body was donated to the Kansas University Medical Center for scientific research. Mrs. Ulmer died Sunday, April 26, 1998, at Lakeview Health Center, Lenexa.

She was born March 16, 1913, in Missoula, Mont. She graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City.

She graduated from Kansas University's school of business in 1937. She served on the Lawrence Library Board during planning and construction of the present library. She was a Lawrence resident for 41 years, before moving to Lenexa in 1974.

She married Gilbert Ulmer in 1937. He died in 1992.

Survivors include five daughters, Susan Snyderman, Fort Collins, Colo., Nancy Spence, Sequim, Wash., Becky Ulmer, Sedalia, Mo., Janet Koertge, Friday Harbor, Wash., and Judy Leon, Grangeville, Idaho; a son, John Ulmer, Topeka; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
