reappointed to state panel

Gov. Bill Graves announced Monday that Dwayne Peaslee, Perry, has been reappointed to the State Building Advisory Commission.

Peaslee, a retired business manager, plumber and pipefitter, represents the AFL-CIO on the state commission and is currently serving as an executive board member of the Kansas AFL-CIO.

Peaslee serves on the board of the Douglas County United Way, the city-county economic development board, the city administrative economic review committee and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce.

He also serves on the State Apprenticeship Council and the Kansas Workforce Investment Partnership Council.

His term will expire in December 2000.
