— Services for Clara M. Culver, 92, Hutchinson, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Claflin. Burial will be at Claflin Cemetery.

Mrs. Culver died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1997, at her home.

She was born May 1, 1905, in Lamont, the daughter of Christian Burkey and Frieda Koenig Burkey. She lived in Claflin for 54 years before moving to Hutchinson in 1995. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Cleveland Extension Homemakers Unit, both of Claflin.

She married Lesslie C. Culver on May 18, 1927, in Emporia. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Gerald Culver, Hutchinson, Leonard Culver, Spearfish, S.D., and Kenneth Culver, Lawrence; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church or the Claflin Ambulance Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
