— Funeral services for Dorothy Miller, 87, Larned, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Larned. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at Central Kansas Medical Center, St. Joseph Campus, Larned.

She was born Sept. 28, 1909, at Macksville, the daughter of Alfred and Eliza Mary Coughlan Enlow. She was a professional musician and homemaker.

She was a past president of the Larned Music Club and the Larned Garden Club. She also was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the American Association of University Women, the Wichita Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, Mu Phi Epsilon and Pi Kappa Lambda.

She married Arthur R. Miller on May 31, 1936, in Lawrence. He died July 17, 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Miller Smith, and two grandchildren, all of Houston.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned.

The family suggests memorials to the Dorothy Enlow Miller Scholarship fund, sent in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned 67550.
