Five skits that will appear in the 1998 Rock Chalk Revue variety show were announced Monday night at Kansas University.
The teams chosen were Lamda Chi Alpha and Alpha Delta Pi; Gamma Phi Beta and Delta Chi; Phi Gamma Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma; Pi Beta Phi and Phi Delta Theta; and Sigma Phi Epsilon and Delta Delta Delta.
Each team is comprised of a fraternity and a sorority.
"I think we have five great shows and ...I think it will be the best show ever," said Kyle Evans, executive director of next year's show.
The winning poster design for the 1998 show was submitted by Cathy Hett, a KU junior majoring in graphic design.
Next year's theme, "Two Truths and a Lie," was announced in September by the Rock Chalk advisory board.
A total of 14 KU living organizations submitted proposals for the show.
Next year's show will be held at 7 p.m. March 12, 13 and 14 at the Lied Center.
Each skit will last 25 minutes, organizers said.
Proceeds from the variety shows are donated to the United Way of Douglas County. Last year, $26,000 was raised.
Next year will mark the 49th annual production of the show.
