The Perry-Lecompton school board on Monday night approved spending $566,834 over the next three years for more than 200 new computers and upgraded software.
The technology improvements would replace 288 existing computers at the elementary, middle school and high school.
Leasing cost per year is $187,138 for computers and software.
"It will certainly give us a good infrastructure," Supt. Henry Murphy said. "We need to upgrade."
