The Oskaloosa school board continued discussion on building walls inside the district's elementary school.

The school, built in the early 1970s, was made with an "open classroom concept," which hasn't proven as effective as originally believed, Supt. James White said.

The board on Monday night heard architect estimates that were in the range of the district's budget for the project -- about $400,000.

No action was taken.
