Baldwin -- Services for Orvil E. Fisher, 80, rural Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Baldwin. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin.
Mr. Fisher died Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997.
He was born Feb. 13, 1917, on a farm near LeLoup, the son of Edwin and Joyce Keagy Fisher.
He married Grace Reams on March 4, 1944, in Ottawa. She died March 29, 1984.
Survivors include four daughters, Teresa S. Brittingham, Burke, Va., Connie Chase, San Diego, Peggy Krouse, Paola, and Laurie Shelley, Oklahoma City; a brother, Merlin, Wellsville; two sisters, Ruth Davis, Lawrence, and Marie Mistele, Raymore, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren.
An infant son, Gary, died earlier.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church in Baldwin, sent in care of the funeral home.
