The Ottawa undersheriff on Monday said the death of a 2-month-old Franklin County boy appears to be the result of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Initial results of an autopsy on Richard Allen Bradshaw, who died Friday, indicated SIDS as the cause, Undersheriff Craig Davis said.

"There is no evidence of foul play," he said.

Richard died in the Peoria community near Ottawa.

Another child conceived by his parents, James Allen and Frances Lynn Ray Bradshaw, was stillborn nine years ago.
