— Graveside services for Phyllis L. Wood, 58, Olathe, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Olathe Memorial Cemetery in Olathe.

She died Thursday, May 22, 1997, at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park.

She was born Sept. 6, 1938, in Richland, the daughter of Walter and Ruby Grammer. She grew up in Lawrence and has lived in the Olathe area for more than 20 years. She was an active participant in the LINK Organization of Olathe for many years.

Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by a son, James Hurley.

Survivors include three sons, Byron Hurley and Joel Hurley, both of Olathe, and Michael Hurley, Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Cheryl Dillon, Sedalia, Mo., and Anita Gertner, Olathe; three sisters, Beulah Anderson and Wilma Stone, both of Lawrence, and Shirley Harris, McLouth; five brothers, Alfred Grammer, Wilford Grammer, Darrell Grammer, Gerald Grammer, all of Lawrence, and Wesley Grammer, Kansas City, Kan., and 16 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home in Olathe.

The family suggests memorials to the Phyllis Wood Memorial Fund, which may be sent in care of W.L. Frye & Son Mortuary and Crematory, 105 East Loula, Olathe, Kansas 66061.
