Services for Lawrence Woodrow Wilson, 75, Eudora, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson died Tuesday, June 10, 1997, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 4, 1921, in Eudora, the son of Melvin and Opal Bagby Wilson.
Mr. Wilson, a lifelong Eudora resident, was a farmer and also a used truck dealer. He enjoyed working on the farm and on his trucks and visiting with friends and customers.
He married Berenice "Bee" Stanley on March 14, 1942, in Olathe. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his son, Larry, Eudora; a brother, Howard, Eudora; two grandsons; and a stepgrandson.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. or to Hesper Friends Church. Memorials may be sent in care of the mortuary.
