PAROLE HEARINGS SCHEDULED FOR INMATES CONVICTED IN AREA COURTS.

Twenty state prison inmates convicted in area courts will be considered for parole in March.

Following is a list of inmates who are up for parole. The list includes the county or counties in which they were convicted, the crimes for which they were convicted and the facility where they are incarcerated.

  • Lamar Maltibia, Leavenworth, second-degree murder, El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Louie R. Martin, Leavenworth and Wyandotte, burglary, robbery, forgery, theft, aggravated burglary and aggravated battery, El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Terry L. McClain, Leavenworth, Wyandotte and Shawnee, first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated battery against a law enforcement officer, theft, burglary, aggravated escape from custody, and aggravated burglary, El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Brian G. Richardson, Franklin, aggravated assault.
  • Scott Elston, Douglas, aggravated robbery, Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • Robert D. Reisinger, Shawnee and Douglas, burglary, Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • Robert E. Boatright, Leavenworth, aggravated intimidation of a witness/victim, aggravated sodomy, indecent liberties with a child.
  • James L. Carter, Leavenworth and Wyandotte, voluntary manslaughter, traffic contraband, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Thomas K. Collins, Franklin, second-degree murder, aggravated battery, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Donald C. Eteeyan, Douglas, aggravated battery, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Allen T. Godfrey, Douglas, burglary, aggravated sodomy, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Marvin W. Johnston, Franklin, Sedgwick and Shawnee, aggravated arson, burglary, theft, indecent liberties with a child, kidnapping, aggravated sodomy, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Michael L. Kaiser, Sedgwick and Leavenworth, traffic contraband, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Henry D. Pondexter, Sedgwick and Leavenworth, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, unlawful possession of firearms, first-degree murder, burglary and aggravated escape from custody.

  • Robert D. Bentley, Leavenworth and Sedgwick, second-degree murder, aggravated escape from custody, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, theft, rape, aggravated sodomy, aggravated escape from custody, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Bob L. McGann, Sedgwick and Leavenworth, aggravated robbery, aggravated escape from custody, Lansing Correctional Facility.

  • John A. Green, Douglas, forgery, Norton Correctional Facility.

The Kansas Parole Board has scheduled public comment sessions to gather input on whether to grant parole to these and other inmates. The sessions are scheduled:

  • From 9 a.m. to noon today, city hall, One McDowell Plaza 701 N. Seventh, Kansas City, Kan.
  • From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Landon State Office Building, 900 Jackson St., Room 106A, Topeka.
