Four Lawrence residents were arrested Tuesday night on various charges, ranging from aggravated assault to aggravated robbery and burglary.
Two men and two women were booked into the Douglas County Jail and were being held without bond Tuesday night. Three juveniles also were detained, but details were not available.
Police had been seeking five to seven unidentified youths who, while claiming to be armed, chased an 18-year-old Lawrence man last week in the 2700 block of Rawhide. Police on Tuesday night could not confirm if the arrests were connected with that incident.
Lawrence police detectives who made the arrests were unavailable for comment Tuesday night.
The four adults were booked into the jail between 5:25 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Those arrested were:
- Rhonda Kathleen Lyle, 24, on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and criminal damage.
- Anthony James Vital, 18, on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
- Larry Donell Robinson, 18, on charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit robbery.
- Kem Leshaun Foster, 18, on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
They where scheduled to make a first appearance in Douglas County District Court at 3 p.m. today.
