Burglaries and thefts reported

  • The 729 Club at 729 N.H. was burglarized between 2 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Thursday, police reported. Access to the business was gained by forcing a wooden door open, police reported. Damage to the business and cash taken was listed at $2,150.
  • Various jewelry and three silver sets valued on a police report at $14,970 were taken between 3:05 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday from a residence in the 1500 block of Alvamar Drive, police reported. A total of $5,425 in damage also was done to doors and windows of the residence, police reported.
  • A 1974 Jeep valued on a police report at $3,000 was taken between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday from the 4000 block of Kimos Circle, police reported.
  • A red 1990 Jeep Cherokee valued on a police report at $9,000 was taken between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday from the 1800 block of West 23rd, police reported.

Condition reports

  • Cynthia Bates, 25, Blue Springs, Mo., was listed in fair condition Saturday night at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., with injuries suffered in a one-vehicle accident Aug. 31.
