— Services for Barbara E. Clinkinbeard, 84, Nortonville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at O'Trimble Funeral Home, Nortonville. Burial will be at Nortonville Cemetery.

Mrs. Clinkinbeard died Monday, Nov. 25, 1996, at Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville.

She was born Sept. 2, 1912, in Topeka, the daughter of Charlie and Myrtle Burdick Stillman.

She attended schools in Nortonville and graduated from Nortonville High School.

She worked for the Drug Store, Nortonville, as an operator for East Kansas Telephone Co. and as a nurse's aide for the Jefferson County Nursing Home, Winchester. She retired from Village Villa Nursing Home in 1977.

She was a member of Seventh Day Baptist Church, Nortonville, Rebekah Lodge No. 157, and American Legion Auxiliary, Nortonville.

She was married to Raphael Marlatt on June 12, 1930. He died May 26, 1948. She married Willard E. Clinkinbeard on June 17, 1950. He died Nov. 4, 1985.

Survivors include three sons, Jerald Marlatt and Terry Marlatt, both of Portland, Ore., and Ed Clinkinbeard, Olathe; three daughters, Wanda M. Chmidling, Osage City, Glenda M. Frost, Nortonville, and Donna Bannister, Lawrence; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
