Are chinchillas, camels and pot-bellied pigs considered domesticated animals that can be kept inside the city limits?

The city code allows domesticated rodents to be kept in the city, said David Corliss, the city's director of legal services. A chinchilla, which is defined as a small rodent, may therefore be kept in the city.

But camels and pot-bellied pigs -- "domesticated or not," Corliss said -- are not allowed in the city, because they are not among the animals listed as allowed in the city code.
