Services for Elaine R. Hirsch, 52, Lawrence, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Alderson Auditorium in the Kansas Union. Private inurnment will be at Pioneer Cemetery.
Mrs. Hirsch died Friday, May 10, 1996, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 28, 1944, in Sycamore, Ill., the daughter of Charles and Rachael Gustafson Lindberg.
She graduated from Sycamore High School and received a bachelor's degree in economics and interior design from Northern Illinois University in 1970. She had been manager of the Bay Leaf in Lawrence for the last 17 years.
She married Bernard Alan Hirsch on Aug. 27, 1971, in Urbana, Ill. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Allan K. Haag, Daytona Beach, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to service time Tuesday at the Malott Room in the Kansas Union.
The family suggests memorials to cancer research at the Kansas University Medical Center. They may be sent in care of the KU Endowment Association or Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
