Topeka — Services for Trudy Kay Poley, 30, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be at Carbondale Cemetery.
Ms. Poley died Friday, April 26, 1996, in Douglas County.
She was born Feb. 12, 1966, in Washington, Kan., the daughter of Ronald Lee Poley Sr. and Violet Marie Hubbard Poley.
She lived in Washington and Meriden before moving to Topeka in January 1979. She was a Southwestern Bell telephone operator for the hearing impaired in Lawrence.
Survivors include two daughters, Toni Shalon Caraway and Kellie Louise Caraway, both of the home; her mother and stepfather, Violet Marie and Daryl John Krohn, Sikeston, Mo.; three brothers, Ronald Lee Poley Jr., Topeka, and Terry Lyn Poley and Curtis Walter Poley, both of Carbondale; three sisters, Tressa Vanita Bolze-Poley, Topeka, Tammy Marie Starkebaum, Carbondale, and Donna Jean Breazeale, Topeka; two half-sisters, Bebe Ann Poley, Nebraska, and Lisa Baysinger-Poley, New Madrid, Mo.; a half-brother, Raymond Baysinger, New Madrid; and her stepgrandfather, Alfred Spence, Linn.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
