Beloit — Graveside services for Agnes E. Ottinger, 87, Beloit, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
She died Friday, March 29, 1996, at Hilltop Lodge Nursing Home in Beloit.
She was born June 26, 1908, at White Wood, S.D., the daughter of Charles and Annie Johnson Barnes.
The family moved from South Dakota to Lawrence when she was a small child.
She moved from Lawrence to Beloit in 1955.
In Beloit, she became a cook and worked in various restaurants over the years.
Survivors include three sons, Carroll Ottinger, Lawrence, Marvin Ottinger, Atchison, and Robert Ottinger, Wichita; a daughter, Maymee Hicks, Beloit; a longtime companion, Riggle Butler; two brothers, George Barnes, Alvarado, Tex., and Ray Barnes, Topeka; a sister, Kathryn Miller, Lawrence; 15 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
