— Services for Nola Jean McVey Cox, 66, Eureka, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center. Burial will be at Toronto Cemetery, Toronto, Kan.

Mrs. Cox died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, in Eureka.

She was born June 10, 1929, in Rich Hill, Mo., the daughter of Harold and Lily Mae Collins Shook.

She was a volunteer at the nursing home in Eureka and a member of the Legion Auxiliary in Toronto and Eureka.

She married Merrill McVey on Jan. 4, 1948, in Girard. He died in 1970. She married Leonard Cox on Nov. 29, 1974, in Pittsburg. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Rex McVey, Yates Center; a daughter, Jacki Denner, Wymore, Neb.; a stepson, Tim Cox, Iola; three stepdaughters, Debbie Wiles, Fontana, Sue Weitzel, Chanute, and Brenda Cox, Eureka; a sister, Delores Dolan, Lawrence; her stepmother, Velma Panyk, Bentonville, Ark.; two stepbrothers, George Phillips, Bentonville, and Bob Phillips, California; two stepsisters, Marietta Perman, Milwaukee, and Ruthie Phillips, Grayghost, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Merrill F. McVey Jr., in 1976.

Friends may call this morning at the funeral home.
