— Kansas University's women's swimming and diving team earned two individual and three relay All-America honors and placed 22nd overall at the NCAA Championships, which concluded on Saturday at the Canham Natatorium.

KU placed 22nd with 32 points. Stanford was the team champion with 478 points.

On Saturday, KU freshman Adrienne Turner earned All-America honors for her 13th-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. KU's Donna Christensen placed 35th in that event.

KU's 400 free relay team of Christensen, Jennifer Peltier, Kristin Nilsen and Rebecca Andrew also earned All-America honors with a 15th-place finish on Saturday.

In other individual events on Saturday, Andrew placed 33rd in the 100 free, Nilsen took 30th in the 200 breast and Peltier placed 24th in the 1,650 free.

KU's other All-America performances came earlier in the three-day meet. Michelle Rojohn turned the trick by winning the three-meter diving on Friday. Two other KU relays -- Peltier, Andrew, Christensen and Turner in both the 800 free and the 200 free -- also earned All-America status.
