— Private services are planned for Robert J. Perkins, 52, Baldwin.

Mr. Perkins died Monday, June 22, 1996, at his home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Miami, the son of John Joseph Moore and Lucille Church Perkins.

Mr. Perkins moved to Lawrence 11 years ago from Chapman. He worked in the construction industry and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include a son, Brian, Chapman; a daughter, Brenda Champ, Junction City; his mother, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his companion, Sara Houser, of the home; a stepson, Tim Houser, Lawrence; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Houser, Lawrence; three brothers, Richard and Sam, both of Colorado Springs, and Hank, Ocean Springs, Miss.; three sisters, Sharon Rozenski, Ocean Springs, Lucy Dotson, Avon, Colo., and Bonnie Flynn, Kearney, Neb.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County. They may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
