Two convicted sex offenders are among several area prison inmates who have parole hearings this month.

The two men are Randy A. Foster, who was convicted of attempted aggravated sexual battery and aggravated incest in 1993, and Cyrus Free, who was convicted of attempted aggravated battery and indecent liberties with a child in 1990 and 1991.

Both are being held in the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

Following is a list of other inmates who are up for parole. The list includes the county or counties in which they were convicted, the crimes for which they were convicted and the facility where they are incarcerated:

  • Carl E. Cook; Wyandotte and Leavenworth; aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and aggravated battery against a law enforcement officer; El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Delano Hoskins; Sedgwick and Leavenworth; battery on a Kansas Department of Corrections employee, El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Lawrence Austin Jr.; Sedgwick and Douglas; burglary, two counts attempted aggravated assault, unlawfully carrying a firearm and theft; El Dorado Correctional Facility.
  • Joe R. Anderson; Douglas; robbery; Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • Jerry B. Gray; Leavenworth; rape; Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • Steven Paul Mueller; Douglas, Gove, Barton, Shawnee and Lyon; theft, three counts of burglary, giving a worthless check, and two counts of aggravated robbery; Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • William L. Price; Johnson, Franklin and Anderson; two counts of burglary, theft and kidnapping; Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
  • Lawrence E. Bidatsch Jr.; Leavenworth; two counts of theft, burglary, aggravated sexual battery; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • Francis Jessepe; Leavenworth and Shawnee; aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, theft and robbery; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • Allen Dale Randol; Ellis and Leavenworth; first-degree murder and aggravated escape from custody; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • James L. Simmons; Douglas and Sedgwick; four counts of robbery; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • Creighton D. Edwards; Leavenworth; robbery; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • Keith E. Spencer; Leavenworth; three counts of theft and three counts of burglary; Hutchinson Correctional Facility.
  • Timothy Arterberry; Shawnee and Leavenworth; four counts of robbery, trafficking contraband; Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Richard L. Cochran; Jefferson; aggravated incest; Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Stephen B. Foster; Wyandotte and Leavenworth; aggravated battery and trafficking contraband; Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Otis Earl Goodale; Wyandotte and Franklin; indecent liberties with a child; Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Sheldon Mundy III; Franklin; driving while a habitual violator and other offenses; Lansing Correctional Facility.
  • Donald E. Barber Jr.; Franklin; theft; Topeka Correctional Facility.
  • John F. Kinmon; Douglas and Shawnee; two counts of theft and three counts of burglary; Wichita Work Release Facility.

Public comment sessions on those up for parole are scheduled:

  • From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Wichita City Council chambers, first floor, municipal building, 455 N. Main, Wichita.
  • From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Landon State Office Building, 900 Jackson, Room 106-A, Topeka.
