Kansas City, Mo. Services for Raymond C. Johnson, 93, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Mo., with the Rev. Tom Stallworth officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995, at Sterling Heights in Lawrence.
He was born Sept. 27, 1902, in McKinney, Tex.
Prior to moving to Lawrence in 1985, he was a long time resident of Kansas City. He was an engineer with Kansas City Power and Light Company who had been retired for 30 years.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Roxey Johnson, in March 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Celia Patti, Lawrence, and Dorothy Snyder, Prairie Village; a stepdaughter, Betty Lou Stout, Centralia, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Moriah and Freeman Chapel.
